Hybrid Work Model To Be Adopted In Google

Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, announced that the lockdown restriction in some areas is being eased out as day by day, Google will slowly adopt a “hybrid” workweek.

Pichai also said that most of the company’s employees from now on will be working three days a week from the office and two days from “wherever they work best.” This means that those two days they can work from home or anywhere they want. In short, they don’t have to go to the office and work those two days.

Sundar Pichai To Let Employees Work From Home Until At Least Next July

‘Google’ and its parent company- ‘Alphabet,’ will permit its employees to continue working from home until July 2021. The chief executive officer of parent company Alphabet Inc, Sundar Pichai, unilaterally made this decision after discussing it with the internal group of top executives. He notified his employees by an email stating: “To give employees the ability to plan, we are extending our global voluntary work from home option through June 30, 2021, for roles that don’t need to be in the office.
