Apple will be providing its corporate and retail employees with custom made face masks called “Apple Face Masks”, Bloomberg has reported. Apple has both designed and manufactured the face masks, which is a three-layered face mask and Apple has also sourced the only transparent FDA approved face masks from a third party.
The transparent face masks are for people who are deaf or hard of hearing so that they can read an employee’s lips to understand what they’re saying. Apple had designed face shields in April to be shipped to areas in need. Read More
Apple Oakridge Centre in Vancouver, British Columbia will permanently close on September 26 exactly after 11 years of its opening. Apple has made a big change to its retail department as the former chief Angela Ahrendts will be leaving the post in April 2019. The company also announced that it has appointed a new member for this position, Deirdre O’Brien, who will be handling Retail+People after Angela transfers her responsibilities to the new chief. Musa Tariq is a social media whiz who was working with Nike as senior director of social media and community before joining Apple. He has also previously worked with Angela Ahrendts at Burberry to help turn around the brand’s perception using social media.
