Google Meet Brings 60 Minutes Time Limit For Group Video Calls

News for the Google Meet users is here. Google has now started putting a 60-minute call limit for free users on Google Meet using Group Calls. The users will be alerted when 55-minutes are over that their call is about to end.

The company has said that the users can increase the time limit on their group calls by upgrading their accounts. One-on-one calls will have a time limit of 24 hours. Google Workspace users will have a time limit for both one-on-one calls and group calls up to 24 hours.

During the pandemic, Google had announced that it will be providing unlimited free group calls. The changes were supposed to take place from September last year but then got extended to the end of June this year.

In case you wanted to know, the Google Workspace plans that include everything starts at Rs.125 per month in India. That is the starting price and the price goes up and varies as per the services offered and the total number of members in a group call. It can go up to even Rs. 1260 a month.

The topmost plan includes hosting calls with up to 250 people, recording, attendance tracking, 5 TB of cloud space per user account, and access to Standard Google Support.
