If rumors are to be believed, then it looks like WhatsApp is bringing in some changes to its app. According to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp has brought in some design changes to its beta version. The changes are with respect to the chat list. From the report, it looks like WhatsApp is removing the line separators between the chat cells on its list. The chat list refers to the first page that comes up when we open the App.
As per the report, the makers are not calling it a design overhaul. They are referring to this as a small change in the UI as the only change is the removal of the separators. This feature is being rolled out to more beta users are will soon be available to the users using the app on android. As per the WABetaInfo report, this feature is already enabled in the Android beta and will soon be available to the end-users.
Recently it had come up that WhatsApp would be introducing a ‘flash call’ feature to check the authenticity of a user. This would be a way to replace the traditional OTP login.
