Collaborative Smartwatch Of Samsung And Google Might Launch At MWC 2021

Samsung and Google have collaborated to bring a smartwatch that will combine Wear OS and Tizen. Now it has come up that the first glimpse of this model will be seen at MWC 2021 at Samsung’s virtual presentation.

As per a report from The Verge, Samsung has said that the virtual event will be done on the Galaxy ecosystem, its new watch experience, and mobile security. MWC 2021 will begin on June 28 from 1:15-2 PM ET.

Google had announced this smartwatch at Google I/O this year. This new smartwatch OS will be a major moment for both companies.

Samsung’s smartwatches have always been a very big hit in the Android Wearables market. They have been using their own operating system and app store for years now. However, Google’s Wear OS in spite of having a reputed Play Store and Google’s ability to deeply integrate it with its services and Android hasn’t left a mark on the market.

The new OS is called Wear as of now. It might solve the problems of both the companies. And hence, both of them are looking forward to it.

Not much has been known about the other two topics- “Galaxy ecosystem” and “mobile security”. However, the invite has a Knox logo. This might make sense later.

MWC is a tech event where both Samsung and Google participate. They make new announcements, launch products, and amaze the users. Because of the pandemic situation both the companies won’t be attending it physically but would be available virtually.
