There have been a lot of speculations about the Apple iPhone 13 that is stated to launch this September. However, it turns out that the launch could be delayed to October or even November as there is a chip shortage all over the world. While there is no confirmation about when exactly the iPhone 13 is going to be launched, there has been news doing rounds about the new iPhone SE 2020 successor. As per reports, the next iPhone SE 2020 successor won’t launch this year but is likely to come out in 2022.
The 2022 iPhone SE will be having a 4.7-inch display. Ross Young, the display analyst reports that the iPhone SE 2022 is likely to have an LCD. The phone will probably be having a home button as well as a Touch ID. The iPhone 12 Mini and the iPhone SE 2020 are almost the same sizes and we can expect the 2022 version to have some bezels around the display.
According to Young, the 2022 version may have sub-6GHz 5G network support. If the 2022 variant comes with the next-generation chip, it will probably come out with 5G support.
The report by Young, also says that the iPhone SE that will be launching in 2023 will be having a hole-punch cutout and not a notch cut out. News is that Apple will be launching the iPhone 14 with a punch-hole cutout.
