A lot is being speculated about Apple’s 2021 iPhone series and this has been in the news for quite some time now. If the latest news is to be believed then it is said that the company won’t be naming the iPhone 2021 models as iPhone 13 but will be naming it as iPhone 12s. A new report has now come out which states that the iPhone 2021 models will be having a touch ID feature that will be built inside the phone’s display. Reports from GizChina say that the company is running tests for a new biometric sensor that will be fitted into the phone screen.
In other words, the new iPhone 12s series will be having a fingerprint sensor inside the screen. The report also states that in the upcoming 2021 iPhone models the notch will be smaller so that the camera unit will be tighter. The report further mentions that the LiDAR sensors which were for the first time present in the Pro series iPhone models last year will be present in the Pro series iPhone models of this year too.
Another report that has come out tells us that a pink color variant of the iPhone 12s Pro model might be available. As per the image, given in the report, there will be a triple rear camera unit where each separate lens is seen as one unit and not three different lenses. Furthermore, going by the image the entire unit is covered with tempered glass which gives it a more solid look in totality.
The entire shape of the rear camera unit remains the same though. Not only this but the new 2021 iPhone model series will be having a better Face ID feature with a more tight time-of-flight (ToF) sensor and it will also be having a more energy-efficient display By Samsung which has a 120 Hz refresh rate. Till now, this is all that has been known about the iPhone series that will be coming up next.
