The multimillion-dollar American communications technology company, Zoom, recently held their annual user interface. At Zoomtopia 2020, their 4th annual conference, the video communications platform unveiled their new product – OnZoom.
OnZoom is a virtual event hosting website wherein companies and artists can create, host, and monetize events like fitness classes, concerts, stand-up or music lessons on the website.
With regard to this platform, hosts can now scale up their businesses and reach new audiences, Zoom said on Wednesday, during its Zoomtopia 2020 event.
Zoom is now offering users with the delight of gifting each other tickets for events, as well as maintaining an attendee dashboard to be up-to-date with their favorite events and bands.
“One thing we’ve learned in this challenging time is that remote work does work. The future will bring a hybrid of the best of in-person and virtual communications,” said Zoom Video Communications CEO Eric Yuan.
“The announcements we make today at Zoomtopia demonstrate that Zoom is built for this moment and beyond. We have the platform to support what the world needs — today, tomorrow, and well into the future.”
The platform allows organizers to host events for up to 1000 attendees (depending on one’s Zoom meeting license).
OnZoom is now exclusively available for use as a public beta for US users.
