Apple recently announced its iPhone 12 event, which is going to take place on 13th October at 10 a.m. PT. Due to the lockdown and quarantine restrictions, this event is going to be virtually streamed from Apple Park.
This is one of the most hyped events in the smartphone sector, and also one of the most anticipated events for Apple as, not one, two, but four iPhones are speculated to be released with the all-new A14 Bionic chipset.
The new invitation featured some hints towards what to expect from this event. The new tagline “Hi, Speed” could mean the introduction of the new A14 Bionic chip and 5G capabilities. The invitation also features the Siri interface and circular rings that point towards the smaller HomePod rumors.
This event will be live-streamed in the Apple TV app, Apple’s website, and YouTube.
What to expect:
The event is mainly about the release of the new iPhones, but that is not all this event has to offer. With the release of the new iPhone 12 lineup, Apple is supposed to launch its new HomePod, AirPods Studio. Even though these are just speculations, it’s something to look forward too.
The new iPhone lineup will include four models, the 5.4-inch iPhone 12 mini, 6.1-inch iPhone 12, 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro, and 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max. The iPhone mini is expected to have a dual-lens setup whereas the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max are supposed to feature a triple-lens setup. All the iPhones will share OLED displays across the board with 5G capabilities.
