A few weeks ago, Apple was rumored to hold a special event on the 15th of October, where they were supposed to unveil new generation iPads, Macs, and a new Apple TV, however, according to a report by AllThingsD, the event has been postponed to the 22nd, and we will most probably not be seeing an Apple TV then.
Apple will reportedly announce a 5th generation iPad, a 2nd generation iPad mini, as well as the latest installment to Apple’s computer operating system, Mac OS X Mavericks, and a new Mac Pro computer.
Reports and speculations suggest that the new iPad will be visually redesigned to be thinner, with smaller bezels like the current iPad mini, and its no secret that there will be improvements under the hood as well. However, it will allegedly be similar in terms of form factor, and the iPad 5 and iPad mini are speculated to ship with Retina Displays.
This year’s iPad event is on par with that of last year, which took place on the 23rd of October.
