Apple has sent out the invitations for the October 16 event. The event, as rumoured before, will be held in the Apple Campus’s Town Hall at 10am. The event that was initially rumoured to be on October 21st is now expected to be held on October 16th, according to Paczkowski of Re/Code. Apple has provided its developers and beta testers with the Golden Master build of OS X Yosemite. This may be the final version of Yosemtite but with still a few days to go for a formal launch it’s hard to tell. The updated video to demonstrate trackpad gestures in System preferences shows new iWork icons. The demo videos also give an idea of what the new version of iWork suite looks like. Read More
With Mac OSX 10.10 ‘Yosemite‘ announced at WWDC earlier this month, and a pre-release build released a few days ago, a new feature is now available. As announced during the unveiling, Yosemite features a ‘Dark Mode.’ This mode changes all the light coloured backgrounds and elements to darker versions for either use at night or in the dark, or simply as a separate theme. Developer Hamza Sood has discovered that it can be activated in the beta version.
During its WWDC developer conference Apple, as expected, announced the next version of its desktop operating system OS X. Apple announced OS X 10.10 Yosemite that follows the current version OS X 10.9 Mavericks. The theme this year is “continuity” which we can very well relate from the new features and changes. Read More
