It has come to some iOS users’ attention that WhatsApp’s voice message recording now appears as a voice waveform. This is thanks to testing the company has been doing on a new, updated interface that displays the exact form of a message when it is being sent in a chat. As per WABetaInfo, only some testers, specifically beta testers on the 2.21.240.18 version of the iOS app, have been given access to this feature, which is not, as of yet, a global roll-out.
