The new update for Apple’s Podcast App allows users to use voice command for Podcasts using Siri integration. It also supports the new CarPlay mode for in-vehicle entertainment systems using either the physical or touchscreen console controls. Simple voice controls like “Play Podcasts” to start playing the list or just naming the Pod with the prefix “Play” would play the Pod or Station labeled accordingly. Apple Launches Brand New Podcasts App
Apple today silently launched a standalone podcast App into the App Store. With the podcasts App, users will now have instant access to their favorite podcasts directly without having to fire up the iTunes App.
