Apple Launches Maps Connect For Small Businesses

Apple has launched something that will truly help them take their maps business to the next level – small businesses can now get listed on Apple Maps which will make them searchable on Maps. With the new web service called as Maps Connect small business owners would be able to manage their listings on Apple Maps. The service also has an iBeacon-powered indoor mapping tool for setting up indoor positioning in select areas. With Maps Connect, companies can enter their own listings and verify via a phone call or email address. The indoor mapping tool also allows to setup interior views of their businesses on Apple Maps. The locations that have Wi-Fi throughout the building and at least 1 million visitors per year can only currently use the tool for indoor mapping. Read More
