The out-of-warranty repairs for iPhone 6 can cost up to $299 and for iPhone 6 Plus $329. These are respectively $30 and $60 more than the repair pricing for iPhone 5S/5C/5 which is just $269. Apple is providing One Year Limited Warranty for all new purchases; however, this does not cover accidental breakage. As shown in their videos, the internals of both the phones are very similar, with the components adjusted according to their shell sizes. iPhone 6 Plus contains a huge 2915 mAH battery, whereas iPhone 6 has a 1810 mAH rated battery. Comparing it with iPhone 5S that has a 1500 mAh battery, the higher rating in the new phones is in line with bigger screen sizes of 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch.
