With their announcement introducing end-to-end encryption for calls made on Google Fi, Google reaffirms their commitment towards ensuring user privacy. While this feature is only available on Android, with the caveat of both parties on the call being users of Google Fi, this is a promising change.
End-to-end encryption ensures that only the people on the call itself will be able to participate in the call, and no third party will be able to listen in on the call.
