Mirror’s Edge is a great 2D game developed by EA. It is available on a lot of major platforms including the iPad. The iPad experience is quite unique and lets you interact with game by touching and swiping the screen with your fingers. You need to swipe to jump, slide and beat your enemies. On iPad, the game completely redefines gaming with gestures you would want to perform all day.

Uzu is a fun application developed by ColorDodge Labs. It completely uses multi-touch on the iPad and lets you play with the points of light with all your 10 fingers. The number of fingers you use would determine the visual effect that would be played. It is great for showcase and if you have a dock for iPad, everyone passing would love to fiddle with it.
App of the Week – Reeder [AppSpark]

Reeder is a RSS Reading application available on the App Store for $4.99. It is beautifully designed, highly customizable and makes feed reading fun. Reeder imports all your starred items, shared items and your subscribed content from your Google Reader Account and displays them in a gorgeous manner. It automatically creates a cache of your feeds for better offline reading and syncs all your data with your Google Reader Account.

Many of the paid RSS Readers do fancy stuff like organize your feeds in a newspaper like manner, give interactive user interface and some even put to use the power of multi-touch on the iPad.
The Electrifying AppSpark

AppSpark is an initiative by TheAppleGoogle under which we spotlight on a particular App every week with a complete review of the App along with a fully featured video. Till date, we had been doing regular sections where we featured a particular App every week under the banner “App of the Week”. Along with the App of the Week, we even do an “Extension of the Week” section because we think extensions too are just like Apps and they open up a wide range of possibilities.
