Android version distribution Archives

Google has not released monthly Android version distribution numbers since November of 2019. However, the company has been providing the stats to developers through Android Studio. According to the latest distribution numbers, the most popular Android version is not Android 11, with less than 25% of devices running on it. Instead, Android 10, released in September of 2019, takes the top spot with 26.5% of all Android devices running on this version. Android 11 follows in the distribution with 24.2% whereas Android 9 Pie stands at 18.2%.
