Rejoice Jailbreakers! The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) has announced that it is now legal to jailbreak your iDevices and unlock your iPhones. Nobody really cared about these issues before jailbreaking, but for those who actually were worried about the legal issues, now you can go ahead without fear.

Google Maps has been getting a lot of updates recently and Google is constantly looking out for new ways to let users find places easily and quickly. Today, Google has released Google Maps for Android version 4.4 which makes it really easy to find common places in any area.
Google has now added a dedicated place icon that lets you quickly look up nearby places and pick a place to go using the updated Place Pages, just like on your computer. On an Android device, you’d be able to find Places in the App Launcher area. The App would let your find specific places like coffee shops, restaurants, bars, hotels and lots more. When launched, It would present a customizable screen with icons for places arranged in a definite manner. You could tap or drag any icon to your home screen.
Today, HTC announced that it had decided to adopt Super LCD and that it would introduce SLCD to various HTC phones including the Desire and the Nexus One. The switch would make its devices more efficient and thus increase battery performance. SLCD is the latest in LCD technology and offers an enhanced viewing experience.
Most of you who use Gmail in iOS 4 would have noticed that whenever you delete a mail from your Gmail account in iOS 4, the message says Archive and not Delete. Archiving is a feature used by Gmail. Whenever you delete a mail from your Gmail account, it archives it – sends it to your All Mail folder instead of deleting it which makes your inbox less cluttered and the archived mail remains in your mail for six years.
Uzu is a fun application developed by ColorDodge Labs. It completely uses multi-touch on the iPad and lets you play with the points of light with all your 10 fingers. The number of fingers you use would determine the visual effect that would be played. It is great for showcase and if you have a dock for iPad, everyone passing would love to fiddle with it.
The creator of Cydia, Jay Freeman a.k.a Saurik met the guys at Make It Work and together they discussed about jailbreaking and the new iPhone. iPhone 4 has not been jailbroken yet and users and developers are both eagerly waiting for the jailbreak to arrive.

Virtual Keyboard is an extension developed by Google which can be downloaded from the Chrome Extensions Gallery. The extension features an onscreen keyboard which pops up automatically wherever typing is required. It features a complete keyboard with support for a lot of symbols.
