Google’s revamped interface was applauded by many but left some disappointed. Google changed many new features including the Google Logo, brought in a new sidebar, new buttons and even a new search bar.
A small yet powerful new addition was a changed “Did you Mean”. Did you Mean was Google’s famous spelling corrector. Whenever someone typed in something such as “Stev Jobs”, it would result in a message – Did you Mean – Steve Jobs.
With Google now updated, this feature stands updated too. Now two messages appear – Showing results for Steve Jobs and Search instead for Stev Jobs. By default, Google would show results for the correct one, but if the users are still sure about the search query, they need to click on “Search instead for.”
