Amazon’s Jeff Bezos Agrees That Android Tablets Suck

At an event today, even Amazon’s Jeff Bezos agreed that Android tablets suck. Before unveiling the new Kindle Fire tablets, Jeff Bezos clearly identified the competition and agreed for the fact that Android tablets are horrible and don’t work.

“Customers are smart. Last year, there were more than two dozen Android tablets launched into the marketplace, and nobody bought ‘em. Why? Because they’re gadgets, and people don’t want gadgets anymore. They want services that improve over time. They want services that improve every day, every week, and every month.”

Sparrow Acquired by Google

sparrowUnbelievable, right? I know it. Sparrow, the extremely famous mail App for Mac and iOS has been acquired by Google. The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed by the Sparrow team or by Google. The Sparrow CEO has made it clear that they won’t be releasing any updates to the App as they will now focus on their work at Google. The entire Sparrow team will be moving to Google to work on future products. Hopefully, a better Mac Gmail client will be made available, but for avid Sparrow users, this is sad news. Chrome Coming to iOS Today

At Day 2 of Google I/O, Google announced that Chrome will be making its way to the App Store for iPhone and iPad users today. Sporting the same clean UI, incognito mode, tab view and more, Google Chrome will be finally launching on iOS making the browsing experience seamless. Google also at the keynote announced that it will be bringing Google Drive to iOS for which over 10M+ users have signed up already.
