JetBlue Replaces Paper Flight Manuals For Pilots with iPads

JetBlue iPadAlthough the concept is not new, JetBlue is the latest commercial airliner to receive FAA (Federal Aviation Agency) approval to replace the bulky paper flight manuals of their pilots with iPads. A similar proposal by American Airlines has also been approved by FAA, the major airliner claims that the move will save the company 40,000 gallons of fuel per year, which is aside from the savings they will make in paper and ink from the constantly updated manuals. This feature will be issued to all economy and business class passengers. This will all be put into action on one of their Boeing 767 planes.
