According to reports, the maker of PUBG, or ‘PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds‘ has filed a lawsuit against Apple and Google. Krafton, the maker of PUBG, is unhappy with the stance that Apple and Google have taken regarding Garena’s Free Fire game. In 2021, PUBG was the biggest game in terms of monthly active users. However, Singapore-based Garena Free Fire had the most number of downloads. The PUBG Battlegrounds developer hopes to be compensated for alleged copyright infringement.

Apple Stores in New York City Limit Services to Online Pickups

This includes the retail stores at the locations of Fifth Avenue, Grand Central, SoHo, and World Trade Center. Cupertino based tech giant Apple released a blog announcement about the addition of several new services for Apple Fitness+. Rolling out from the 10th of January, these new services include Collections and Time to Run. “Collections” lists a series of meditations and workouts to help users reach their fitness goals. Six collections will be available at launch. These include “Run Your First 5K”, “Strengthen Your Back”, “Stretch Your Hips 30-day Core Challenge”, “Wind Down for a Better Bedtime”, “Improve Your Posture with Pilates”, and “Perfect Your Yoga Balance Poses.”

US based tech giant Apple has become the first company to reach the stock market valuation of $3 trillion (or £2.2trillion). Since the unveiling of the first iPhone by the company’s former chief executive and co-founder, the late Steve Jobs, Apple’s share price has risen by approximately 5,800%. Monday’s trading session in New York closed with a slip back down to $2.99 trillion. However, Apple still remains the first company ever to have reached the $3 trillion market value, a historic achievement in itself. However, its value slipped a little from that milestone, to end Monday’s trading session in New York at $2.99tn. Apple’s stock market valuation rose from $2tn to $3tn in a little over 16 months. In August 2018, the Cupertino company had become the first to hit a stock market valuation of $1tn. With a market valuation of $1.8bn, Apple had made its stock market debut in 1980.
