Apple’s iPhone SE 3, iPad Air 5, MacBook Pro M2 Expected To Be Launched In March

Apple is all set to launch the new iPhone SE3 device at its upcoming 2022 Spring event, which will be held next month. Although the official date of the event has not yet been confirmed by the company, a Bloomberg report suggests March 8 as the possible date. Quiet a few new devices are expected to be launched at the Spring event, the iPhone SE 3 being one of them, as well as the iPad Air 5, MacBook Pro M2, etc.

Reports and leaks so far suggest that the iPhone SE 3 will continue with the older iPhone SE (2020) design, as well as retain the Touch ID home button and thick bezels. The new iPhone SE 3 will alos reportedly support 5G connections. The new iPhone could also feature Apple’s 5nm A15 Bionic processor, with a RAM of 3 GB. If Apple chooses to continue with the pre-existing design, then the device could have a compact, 4.7-inch LCD display. Rumors also suggest that the device will feature a lone, 12-megapixel camera sensor, with the photography experience enhanced with a potential external X60M 5G baseband chip.

The 13-inch MacBook Pro is also expected to be launched at the event, revamped with a brand new Apple M2 silicon processor. The design is expected to be the same as that of the present MacBook Pro, and will thus likely come with a Touch Bar. Details about this particular device are scarce, as of now, however, its most anticipated feature will most likely be the M2 chip, which is supposed to have an 8-core CPU similar to the M1 chip, but is said to be faster and more efficient, as it is said to be based on a smaller, 4nm node. It is also rumoured to have more GPU cores (9 core and 10 core GPU), which is a significant upgrade from those available on the M1 chip.

The 5th generation iPad Air is also expected to be launched at the Spring event, and is rumoured to host the Apple-made A15 Bionic chip. Other prospective launches and announcements include a Mac mini and a 27-inch iMac Pro.
