At Apple’s event on Tuesday, Apple announced its upgraded iPad. The iPad 9 will be a low-cost iPad whose starting price is set at $329. It is going to be powered by the A13 Bionic chip and this guarantees 20% faster performance.
Along with the upgraded iPad, a new iPad Mini has also been announced n the Apple event. The iPad Mini will have an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display along with a Touch ID power button at the top of the tablet. The iPad Mini will have narrow borders and the Home button has been omitted. The design is similar to that of the iPad Pro.
The product has a wide-ranging of functionality starting from 5G, Apple Pencil support to a power button that supports TouchID for unlocking. The device is also said to have a CPU that is 40% faster than the previous model and a GPU with an 80% faster performance.
The iPad Mini also has a USB type C port along with front and rear-facing 12 megapixels cameras. The price for the iPad Mini starts at $499 and will be available from next week. The price will however increase if you add 5G to the mix.
