According to reports from Haaretz, Google has decided to put up a data center in Israel. This data center will be set up by Google for its cloud computing services which is going to call for an outlay of hundreds of millions of dollars.
Haaretz further said that Google could have put up the data center in the nation itself as a regional hub. This would be matching plans from companies such as Oracle, Microsoft, and Amazon.
According to the report, this investment further supports a connection that the company is trying to establish with Telecom Italia. This proposes linking Italy with India.
