1. Scheduled and silent messages
One of the most important and unique features that Telegram is the option to schedule a message and send a message without the notification note. You can type a message and schedule it for a particular time and Telegram will send the message at that time. When you send such messages the receiver will receive the message but without the message tone. 2. Locate Users Near You
Telegram allows you to see people who are near to your location. Go to contacts on the Telegram app. Choose the ‘Find People Nearby’ and you get the accounts of several people who are near your location. This saves you the trouble of meeting people, noting their number, and then adding them on Telegram. You can just add them directly from the search results. In case on WhatsApp, you have to get their number and then add them.
3. Group Voice Chats
There is a new feature that has been added recently on Telegram and that is group voice chats. The group members can start a group chat for all the members of the group. WhatsApp allows group voice calls but only7 members can be called and you have to select the 7 members and once they leave they cannot rejoin. Also, it’s more like a normal call whereas in Telegram the chat is kept open and any number of members can use the feature at any point.
4. Group Participants
Telegram allows us to have a group of a maximum of 5000 members whereas the limit for the members in the WhatsApp group is 256 members. Hence, Telegram is more convenient for creating huge groups such as a group of all the employees of a company from a particular state.
5. Chat Folders
Telegram allows you to organize your chats in different folders. This lets you manage various group chats and the same time. For example, you can make two folders one related to your work and the other related to your personal life. That was it will be easier for you to access. You can also order the folders you have created, but the ‘All chats’ folder will always be the first one.
