Launcher 5 Will Allow Users To Create Custom iOS 14 Widgets With Different Shortcuts

The Launcher App is being updated with new Home Screen widgets for iOS 14 users. With the latest version, Launcher 5, users will be able to create custom widgets for their home screen with different shortcuts to Apps, contacts, etc.

With its native iOS Apps, Apple offers many widgets to users as per suggestions. The only downside was that they weren’t based on the user’s choice. But now, Launcher 5 will let users create their own widgets with whatever shortcuts they want, including their favorite playlists or a specific contact.

The App will allow shortcuts to links, messages, FaceTime, and email. It also supports map locations and can be integrated with Apple Music and the Shortcuts app.

Apart from that, the most interesting thing about Launcher 5 is its customization feature. It allows users to set custom icons for each action, as well as change widgets background with colors or images. One can even change the icons or the widget’s appearance based on the time of the day or location.

You can download the Launcher 5 for free from the App Store. However, to access some features, including the option to remove the Launcher icon from widgets, will require you to purchase the Pro version, which is available at $2.99.
