According to Google’s G Suite Status Dashboard, many of its services including Gmail, Drive, Docs, Meet, Chats, Groups, Keep, and Voice got disrupted this Thursday morning. Google has assured that the issues have been fixed. Its dashboard has also been updated to show that everything is now fully functional.
During the service disruption, users complained that they were not able to upload any files across the Google services. Uploading attachments to Gmail was also not possible. Some users even complained of not being able to compose a new email or reply to one.
Initially, Google announced that it was looking into the matter. Later, it officially confirmed that there was a range of issues that had arisen:
Gmail sending issues, Meet recording issues, Creating files issues in Drive, CSV user upload issues in Admin Console, Posting message issues in Google Chat, Sites adding new pages issues, Keep issues, Voice mail issues
After that, Google said that it had restored Gmail services for some users while assuring that it’ll fix the issues for all its users very soon.
Users worldwide also reported on Twitter about having trouble while uploading videos to YouTube. The issues appeared to be global.
