With the whole world moving to digital modes for carrying out meeting, activities and events, Apple Camp 2020 will be held virtually too. Apple had announced last week that its yearly Apple Camp which takes place at their retail stores will now be held online, where kids can experience fun digital programs from their favourite spot at home. Thereby, the event is being called ‘Apple Camp at Home’. Apple Camp at Home is bringing digital activites for childern between the age of 8-12 years for free by offering a self-guided activity book and live virtual sessions with Apple Creatives. The digital programs are focused on video, art & design, and coding. The registrations for Apple Camp at Home are now open, parents can sign up for the online sessions and also download the free Activity Book.
Live sessions will be hosted over Webex, which will last for 30 to 60 minutes, taking place between July 11 and July 31. The campers will have to choose a session date and time slot to sign up. The live sessions will be based on three themes – Spark Positive Change (July 11-July 17), Design a Space for Happiness (July 18-July 24) and Learn to Code a Helpful Robot (July 25 -July 31), which will leverage Apple Software such as Clips App, Pages and Swift Playgrouds respectively. Kids will also be able to ask questions to Apple Store Creative Professionals in the Q & A sessions. The Activity Book is a 38 pages document (Apple pages), with three fun filled creative projects which the kids can complete at their own relaxed pace which also includes completion certificate.
Older kids and their parents can also enjoy Today at Apple at Home sessions to learn how to get the most of their iPhones, iPad and Mac with exciting free videos.
