Google Postpones Android 11 Launch Due To COVID-19


As per previous reports, Google was going to initiate its Android 11 launch which was dated on June 3rd through an online event in wake of the current pandemic situation. As there has been not much of a movement in the country and the situation still remains the same, Google has decided to postpone the Android 11 release and had postponed the beta release too. Speaking in their own words, the Tech-Giant believes that this is not the time to celebrate.

Recent statement stated by Google on its official website, the Tech-Giant states that they are excited to tell their users all about Android 11 but now is not the time to have this celebration and that they are pushing back the dates from the original date of occurrence June 3rd. The future date of the Android 11 release has not yet been disclosed by Google yet.

The online meet which was scheduled for this week for the Android 11 launch has now being cancelled and Google states that it will let the users know about the same soon. According to reports, the launch has been postponed due to some protests which is taking place in the US over the killing of George Floyd. Although, if you can an eligible device, then you can install the Android 11  developer preview right away in your mobile phones. However, It must be noted that this version if for the use of developers only an not for consumers use and hence it is made available only through manual download and flash only.
