Xiaomi had tremendous success with the launch of the original Poco F1. The phone had totally disrupted the market and redefined what an affordable flagship is capable of. With the killer specs and its jaw-dropping price, the Poco F1 was a phone that users would drool all over. To carry on its legacy, Poco is back as an independent brand to continue the Pocophone lineage. The Poco X2 is definitely up there to carry on that legacy.
It would be naturally occurring to have the successor of the Poco F1 to be named as the Poco F2. However, sources claim to say that perhaps this phone isn’t intended to be the successor to the Poco F1. The brand may be making its move to establish an independent name with this new release.
We have already got quite some information regarding the specifications of the Poco X2. The phone features an edge-to-edge display that comes with a whopping 120hz refresh rate. The Poco X2 will have as many as four cameras which include a 64-megapixel sensor as well. For the front, the phone will have dual punch-hole cameras. A recent leak spotted on the Geekbench website revealed that the phone would have an octa-core processor, Android 10, and 6GB of RAM.
The Poco X2’s base model, a 6GB/64GB variant will be priced at Rs 18,999. Again Poco is back with their rigorous pricing. We really feel that this phone would be another hit especially considering the 120hz screen. Let’s just hope that the battery capacity of the phone would be able to sustain that beautiful screen.
