Google Pays Only Half To Developers Compared To Apple

Google came into existence as a search engine, now one of the biggest technology giants had reportedly paid only 80 Billion USD to its Android developers compared to its rival Apple which paid 155 Billion USD via the App Store.

Knowing the fact that most of the smartphones on the planet runs on Android than Apple’s own iOS, Google still lags behind the payment for its developers. The CEO of Google Sundar Pichai claimed that Google has paid over 80 Billion USD since the launch of Play Store back in 2008, which is far less than Apple’s 120 billion USD to its App Store Developers. This indirectly shows that there is more money for developers on Apple than Google’s Android.

Google also claimed to have spent 17 Billion USD on other few things like, the Google’s hardware business which isn’t looking very interesting considering the money they’ve spent. In order to compete with Apple, Google really needs to think about its future of the Play Store as Apple is providing much more money to its developers. Also Apple’s launch of its various products like Apple TV+, Apple Music, Apple News, Apple Arcade etc. are really providing good opportunities for its developers.
