Samsung has officially the confirmed the launch of the next Galaxy device – Samsung Galaxy S11 on February 11th 2020. The event is called Unpacked and will take place in San Francisco and the company will be launching a few other devices as well as per the invites that they have sent out.
Apart from S11, we could be looking at he unveiling of Samsung Galaxy S20 series for the first time along with the announcement of Samsung Galaxy Fold 2. The company also posted a promo on their Twitter account saying ‘Say hello to a whole new Galaxy. Unpacked on February 11, 2020’. The video didn’t show much, just the Galaxy logo with two white blocks which could indicate the a set of new features for this upcoming smartphone.
We don’t know yet how the hardware and software on Samsung Galaxy S11 will look like but the expected configurations and specs are as follows:
– Curved AMOLED display with a punch-hole design and 120Hz refresh rate.
– Triple camera lens setup with 108-megapixel main camera, a 48-megapixel telephoto lens with OIS and a camera module with 5x optical zoom.
– 8K video capture support at 30 frames per second.
– Features like Director’s View, Night Hyperlapse and Vertical Panorama
Samsung could also have some other new devices coming out at the event which we are not aware about. The company recently launched the Galaxy Buds+ true wireless earbuds that go along perfectly with the Samsung Galaxy S10 series. We could see something similar with the new S11 series as well.
