Apple celebrates its 10 year milestone ever since the launch of the original iPad. At the time of its launch, the iPad was deemed to be a controversial product due to the various concerns about its enormous size. However, users have grown through its abnormalities over the years and currently the iPad is on pace to replace traditional desktops as well.
Ever since its first release, Apple has launched 12 more successors to this lineup along with three new iterations. The iPad Mini, iPad Pro, and iPad Air. With each successful launch, they have managed to make the device more efficient, fluid and ever so aesthetic. At present, the latest seventh-generation iPad sports a 10.2-inch Retina display, an A10 Fusion chip and an 8 megapixel back camera housed in an ever so sleek and elegant design.
One of the most revolutionary additions to the iPad lineup came with the support for the Apple Pencil with the ability to charge wirelessly as it sat magnetically attached to the side of the tablet. This tool has allowed designers to seamlessly illustrate their art on a portable device leaving all the complexity behind. Through the recent years, the iPad has soon become the primary device for students and designers alike. Most likely due to the top-notch performance paired with its portable design.
Looking ahead, it is widely speculated that Apple would host an event in March 2020, where they would possibly release the new iPad Pro units. Several leaks have come out regarding its design which show a striking resemblance of the triple cameras present in the iPhone 11 series.
