Redmi K30 Has Launched In China

Xiaomi has launched the Redmi K30 smartphone in China alongside RedmiBook 13 in China on 10th Decmeber 2019. The company also launched a few other accessories for these devices. The launch event was livestreamed on company’s Weibo account.

Redmi K30 was leaked in China back in November where it was seen in the hands of subway commuter. A few more rumors were doing the rounds thereafter and we also witnessed the software related leak where they said that the phone will come with 120 Hz display with 6.6-inch screen.

Some of the information mentioned in these leaks is indeed right. The phone does come with the 6.6-inch screen and has Gorilla Glass protection with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. Redmi K30 runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor with 6GB of RAM and internal storage of 64GB expandable up to 256GB.

The device will be 5G enabled which means that it will be the first 5G compliant smartphone from the company. The 5G framework is expected to give significant boost in internet speeds and connectivity for all future 5G enable smartphones.

Redmi K30 will operate on MIUI 11 based out of Android 10. It houses a massive 4500mAh non-removable battery which also support fast charging.

Speaking about camera, the phone has 64MP primary camera on the rear with a 5MP and 8MP secondary camera. On the front, you have a 20MP camera and a 2MP camera for clicking the best selfies.

This device will also support dual-sim functionality which means that you can use both regular SIM and nano SIM.
