OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has teased the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition on Twitter. The image shared by him shows the retail package for this device having a carbon fibre pattern along with the orange outline which looks very similar to the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition that was launched last year.
OnePlus had partnered with British carmaker McLaren in 2018 to bring these special edition phones and now the company is looking to continue the tradition with the OnePlus 7T series. They also confirmed the launch of the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition on October 10 via a tweet saying ‘McLaren and OnePlus, relentlessly pursuing perfection. For Pete Lau, the partnership with McLaren is of most importance and he says that they have long been inspired by the McLaren brand spirit as an established company that continues to innovate. He firther added that the public reaction to the OnePlus 6T McLaren edition was incredible and users enjoyed seeing them working together to push boundaries and they are thrilled to continue working together.
Speaking of specifications, the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition will be more powerful compared to OnePlus 6T Pro McLaren Edition. It will run on the Snapdragon 855+ processor and will house a pop-up selfie camera with a triple rear camera setup. Based on reports, it is also expected to come with a 65W fast charger. This phone is expected to launch alongside the OnePlus 7T Pro where both the devices will includ 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
