YouTube Music is now looking to slowly improve the UI and revamp how the App looks for the users and also for the artists. It has now changed the design of the artist profiles and these new profiles will start showing up on iOS and Android in the coming weeks.
The profile for artists now features a larger cover image and when you jump from this image to check the actual profile, you will find the name of the artist while the image fades away in the background. Below the artist name, you will also find the subscribe button and the total number of followers in the center.
Once you jump to the profile of any artist, you will be shown the latest release card that will have the artist’s newest song or album. Another notable change is the renaming of Songs to ‘Top Songs’ to show the listener all the popular songs from that artist.
The albums are organized well with a larger cover image that makes the viewing experience far better than what it used to be before. Although these changes are subtle, but they still add up to a wonderful user experience whether you are a listener or an artist.
The about section has also been moved to the bottom of the artist profile page which used to be above earlier. YouTube is rolling out the new design update in its latest version 3.37 for both iOS and Android. Apart from this, the company is also working on design changes on its desktop web player.
