Apple finally released its new AirPods Pro at an event yesterday. These new earbuds from Apple now feature active noise cancellation for the first time and comes with a price tag of $249 and you can pre-order them starting October 30 in the United States.
The overall design of the new AirPod has now changed compared to the earlier version and these earbuds now come with a flexible silicone ear tips. The new in-ear design adjusts for a power packed sound experience and better noise cancellation. You get to have three different kind of eartips that can be used for any kind of ear shape making it very versatile and handy.
AirPods Pro are also water resistant for the first time and comes with the IPX4 tag for sweat and water-resistance. Apple has added another min-blowing feature which is the Transparency mode. In this mode, you will be able to quickly switch from noise cancellation mode so that you can hear the nearby surroundings which can be very handy while interacting with nearby people.
The noise cancellation technology is based on the Apple’s custom H1 chipset that powers the AirPods Pro. The earbuds have external speakers that monitors the sound for real-time noise cancellation. Apart from this, it delivers up to 24 hours of listening time with the charging case and around 4-5 hours of listening time with the active noise cancellation in normal use.
The charging case for the AirPods Pro has also been redesigned entirely. As expected, you can charge the earbuds wirelessly and there is also an option to charge via lightening port.
