16-inch MacBook Pro Will Have 96W USB-C Charger

Apple is currently working on the 16-inch MacBook Pro and based on a new leaked image, this new laptop could along with a 96W USB-C charger. This new charging adapter has the mode number A2166 and is reportedly about the same size as the 87W adapter which is used on the 15-inch MacBook Pro.

The new 16-inch MacBook Pro will be the most advanced and powerful MacBook ever produced and with that massive screen size, it is expected to become a hit among the fans. Sources claim that the screen size will be similar to the 15-inch Macbook Pro but will have thinner bezels on the sides making the screen size an inch larger. Also, the display would feature a 3072×1920 resolution and the machine could be powered by the refresh of Intel’s Coffee Lake-H mobile processor series.

The leaked image for the 96W adapter appears to have these labels: 96W USB-C Power Adapter” and “Designed by Apple in California — Assembled in China”. Currently, there is no MacBook that supports the 96 W capacity as the the 15-inch model uses an 87W adapter and the 13-inch MacBook Pro has a 61W USB-C adapter.

Apple has not disclosed anything yet for the 16-inch MacBook Pro but we already know about some of the specs that would be on offer. There could be a few more surprises for this MacBook Pro apart from this charger such as a powerful processor and an all new keyboard design. Apple’s Pro Display XDR will also be capable with the 96W charging capacity.
