OnePlus is getting ready to launch its successor to the OnePlus 7 series, the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro on 26th September. The company will be holding two events, one in September where the OnePlus 7T series will be launched and one in October, where we could see the unveiling of other new products.
The OnePlus 7 series was launched just a few months back in June, so the launch of the new OnePlus 7T series feels a bit rushed as people have just got familiar with the OnePlus 7 phones. Maybe it’s a part of some strategy for the company to boost sales or maybe they want to provide more variety for the buyers to decide among the available OnePlus phones.
The official poster for the launch of OnePlus 7T reveals the addition of 90HZ super smooth display. We are expecting this feature to be available on both 7T and 7T Pro, after it was first added by the company in the OnePlus 7 Pro smartphone. This means that people won’t have to worry about the 90Hz display on the 7T series as it will be readily available on both models.
The OnePlus 7T series will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855+ processor and have a bigger and better battery life compared to the OnePlus 7 series. The pricing for the device is not out yet but it should be around the same range of the earlier models. The company will also be launching their first every smart TV this year – OnePlus TV and had unveiled the logo recently.
