After the launch on new iPhones, Apple has now reduced the prices of its older iPhones including the iPhone XR and iPhone XS in India. Along with this, the company has also reduced the cost of Apple Watch series 3. This usually happens once the company launches any new products which was also seen last year.
Speaking of iPhone XR, this smartphone was launched for a price of ₹76,900 in 2018. This was the low-end offering from Apple for people who cannot afford to purchase the high end models. It’s price has now been reduced to ₹49,900 for the 64Gb variant and ₹54,900 for the 128GB variant.
Apple XS will now cost ₹89,900 from the earlier price of ₹99,900. Also, the cost of the 256GB variant has now fallen to ₹1,03,900 with a reduction of ₹11,000. Apart from this, Apple has also slashed the pricing of iPhone 7 model with the 32 GB model costing ₹29,900 and the 128 GB variant costing ₹34,900.
The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will also be sold for a reduced price of ₹39,900 and ₹49,900 respectively. Also, the Apple Watch Series 3 will be available for ₹20,900 in the country.
At the annual launch event conducted on September 10, Apple announced three new iPhones- iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. The company also launched the new iPad and the new Apple Watch Series 5 with amazing new features like emergency call which can place a call anywhere around the world without your iPhone. The pricing for Apple Arcade and Apple TV+ were also revealed. However, the company did miss out on some of their other products like the AirPods and the HomePod.
