Google has launched it’s first smart display – the Google Nest Hub in India at a price of Rs. 9,999. The device will be available from today online on Flipkart and on offline retail stores Tata CliQ, Croma and Reliance Digital.
Basically, this device has a smart assistant with a 7-inch display which will help users with their everyday tasks and reminders. The Nest Hub can be connected to over 200 million devices from brands like Xiaomi, Syska, Oakter, LG, Yeelight, Philips, tp-link and others. The users can make use of this device to get daily news, recipes, entertainment like watching YouTube videos and stuff.
Users can watch news from popular channels like India Today, NDTV, and Zoom on this device. The device shows the total time you spent and also lets you filter content based on viewer preference. It also has an extremely powerful built-in speaker which lets you play music and can also take in voice commands to perform actions.
The device is like a mini iPad which has a touchscreen with Google Assistant which helps you control all the connected devices in your home with your voice. It has also been customised for a very professional video experience on YouTube.
Google has tough competition in this space with competitors like Amazon Echo Show 5 which is priced at INR 8,999. The fancy part about this device is that it takes voice commands from the user to perform multiple different actions like setting an alarm, playing music, setting up appointments, opening Apps and more.
