New information put out by Phone Arena says that Android Q, now known as Android 10, is officially rolling out to Pixel devices on September 3. Earlier, a report said that Android 10 will only makes its way in Pixel 4 series, but it now seems that it will be soon available for earlier Pixel models as well.
In conversation with the support agents at Google, Phone Arena came to know about this event where one of their staff asked when the official version of Android Q will be available to which the Google’s support staff said ‘I would like to inform you that the Android Q will be rolled out to the devices from September 3, 2019.’ This definitely confirms that Pixel users will receive the update for Android 10 in another nine days.
Google recently removed the curtains behind the name for its next Android operating systems and simply named it Android 10 saying that it was abandoning the dessert names for a simpler nomenclature and make it more intuitive for the global audience which delivered this change. People were expecting the name ‘Android Q’ as the previous version was called Android P but that didn’t happen as we saw last week.
The Android 10 update is expected to roll out on all Pixel devices that include Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Pixel 3a, Pixel 3a XL, Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. However, Google has not officially announced about it so we need to be aware about and wait for the company to actually release this information to the public.
