iOS 13 Will Include A New Way Of Data Transfer

Apple released the third beta version of iOS 13, macOS Catalina, iPadOS 13, tvOS 13 and watchOS 6 today. The company usually puts out these new beta updates with bug fixes and improvements, but there are also instances where you end up discovering new features. A new kind of setup has had been found inside of the new version of iOS 13 that deals with faster data transfers between devices.

Compared to iOS 13 beta 2, the beta 3 version shows the Setup app with new changes that could point out a newer way of data transfer. The change was discovered by 9to5Mac when they tried to setup a new device on iOS 13 beta 3, where the setup App runs immediately. Though the change is not clearly visible, it could indicate that is something new for iOS.

The change is aimed towards transferring data easily between two devices. This could happen when you are setting up a new iPhone and want all the data from the previous phone. The usually way before was to do this wirelessly by restoring from an iTunes backup or from an iCloud backup. But the new way could help the user do the same with a wire transfer between two devices.

This means that the data transfer would take place via a cable, which would connect both the devices. One of the images inside of this new beta version of iOS 13 shows to have two iPhones connected with each other with a cable. However, we are not sure if this will work considering iPhones only have a single lightning port.
