Instagram will be introducing a few new features on the App in the coming weeks with a refreshed new camera UI and simplified shopping experience. These features are aimed to improve the experience of creators, online business owners and influencers. All of this was mentioned in detail with the company’s announcement at Facebook’s F8 developer conference.
The new Instagram camera will have a new mode called “Create Mode” which will help users create a post without having to upload images or videos. They can also insert GIF, quiz stickers among other content in these posts. Apart from this, you can also see the Superzoom and AR Effects put into normal sections.
Speaking of the upcoming shopping feature, the Checkout feature will allow creators to include tags to products that they are endorsing. This will let their followers and viewers of these creators to purchase the product directly from the provided link. At the same time, the creators will also be able to check the insights of how the product shopping posts are performing.
The Instagram blog post said:
This new camera will make it simpler to use popular creative tools like effects and interactive stickers, so you can express … what [you’re] doing, thinking, or feeling more freely, especially for those moments in-between when there isn’t photo or video to share.

Instead of taking a screenshot or asking for product details in comments or Direct, you can simply tap to see exactly what your favorite creators are wearing and buy it on the spot. Anyone in our global community will be able to shop from creators.
