Xiaomi’s second edition of the flagship gaming phone Black Shark is now up for grabs in Europe for a price of 549 Euros. The Black Shark 2 is very robust compared to its predecessor, and comes with Snapdragon 855 chipset, 8GB or 12GB of RAM, 128GB or 256GB of storage, a 4,000mAh battery with 27-watt charging, and a notchless 6.39-inch full HD+ AMOLED screen.
This gaming phone is very much capable of handling any type of game that consumes a lot of processing power and graphics. You will also have an illuminating logo at the back, pretty similar to the Razer Phone 2. Every aspect of the phone is great, except that it is quite bulky and weighs 205g and you will easily feel it if you have it in your pocket.
Xiaomi has added a cooling system in the device which claims to handle the CPU and GPU performance for extended hours of gaming and this was not available on the original Black Shark phone.
Android Authority reported:
The Black Shark 2 does offer a few gaming-related features though, such as a hardware key to activate a gaming interface, reduced screen latency, and a “multi-layer liquid cooling” system. We’ve also got a pull-down menu in games (for toggling notifications, a frame-rate counter, and other settings) as well as a “ludicrous mode” for better performance at the expense of battery life.
Black Shark 2 is currently available only in the regions of European Union and the United Kingdom. You can head over to the website if you wish to purchase this phone.
