A promo video for the foldable phone was uploaded by Samsung today that teases the device in a new light. We have heard a lot of rumours for the foldable phones since the past year and this could soon become reality with Samsung being the first company to launch a foldable device ahead of the competition.
A press event will be held by Samsung on 20th February, where the company is expected to unveil this phone. We could also see the launch of Samsung Galaxy S10 phones at the same event. But, the main showstopper would be the foldable smartphone which has been featured as “the future unfolds” in the video advertisement.
The video is only 15 seconds longs but it clearly gives the viewers an idea of a smartphone with folding capabilities even though the phone is completely invisible to the eyes. Apart from this, there is not much that the video gives out on the phone and doesn’t say much on the features as well. You can also see some Korean texts that wrap around an invisible surface, which we really don’t know what is it supposed to mean unless you know how to read and understand Korean.
What we know so far that the Samsung Galaxy S10 phone will not be foldable, so there is surely a new device that is coming on Feb 20 offering different hardware and software specifications. It will interesting to see how this phone fares compared to the Galaxy S10 phones, and the camera will also be a talking point in both the devices.
