A new benchmark leak shows that the Google Pixel 3 Lite phone could actually come with the name “Pixel3a”. The leak also gives us a brief information on the specifications of the phone, which nobody knew about amid all the rumours and speculations on the cheaper Pixel variant. The phone previously called as Pixel 3 Lite XL, is now Pixel 3a and fans will be eager to know more on this phone and what they can expect.
The benchmark results shows the name tag “Google Pixel 3a XL” and lists all the information on the hardware and software of this smartphone. This device will house 4GB of RAM and run on Android 9 Pie. This latest version of Android OS has started showing up now on several new Android phones including Samsung Galaxy phones and will soon come to the other brands like OnePlus, Xiaomi as the companies will look to launch them with their upcoming flagship phones.
Looking at the benchmark results for the Pixel 3a, the device has scored fairly well with single-core score of 1640 and multi-core score of 4973. This takes it on a much higher level compared to the scores of Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3 XL.
The processor highlighted is a Qualcomm device with upto 8 cores and has a base frequency of 1.71 GHz. Based on the reports, this could clearly point out to the Snapdragon 710 processor which is the latest chip in the market with the likes of Nokia implementing on their Nokia 8.1 smartphone. The motherboard on the Pixel 3a is code-named as “Bonito” whereas the high-end Pixel devices have the name “Sargo” as seen earlier.
