Reliance Jio has been on the forefront of the telecom services in India since the past year with cheaper plans that suits the masses compared to Vodafone and Airtel. Also, with the Jio phone on offer, calling and data services have become very much affordable in the country. Also, multiple services are available on the My Jio App for media and entertainment for free. Now, Jio has gone ahead and launched its very own browser called “Jio Browser”.
The browser is currently available for Android users and can be downloaded from the Play Store. The company claims the Jio browser to be a “fast and lite” solution for all kinds of web browsing. There are many features available that will help users enhance their browsing experience in any location. You will get to use the Incognito mode for private browsing, social media sharing and a download manager similar to other browsers in the App market.
Also, there is a news and videos section that will show all the latest happening in the world. This will be specifically delivered by Hyderabad-based news aggregator platform “PublicVibe”. Apart from this, there is the default tab for websites like MyJio, BookMyShow, AJio, Flipkart, Amazon.in and others.
The browser is currently available in these languages including English: Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil, and Telugu. Users can choose any language based o ntheir preference and the App is available to for just 4.8 MB file size on the Play Store. Jio has not yet announced the browser for iPhone users.
